Viva Oaxaca Return Policy

All of our products are backed by a 100% money-back guarantee. PLUS, with domestic orders within the United States, we pay for your return shipping. For items purchased during December, the return deadline is SIX WEEKS after date of purchase. (Normally, our return allowance is 30 days after purchase.)

When you receive your order, keep in mind that you are buying folk art; everything is handmade, and there may be minor irregularities in the pieces. However, in the event you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, we are happy to make an exchange or complete refund. We will refund your original shipping charge, too.

We ask you to follow these guidelines:

  • Please notify us of your intent to return an item before you send it back to our location in Boston. Here is the email contact form. If we don’t acknowledge your return request within 48 hours, please give us a call at 617-983-5075.
     
  • Items must be sent back in their original, undamaged condition. Please wrap the item(s) in a sturdy box. If possible, use the same packing materials that the item was delivered with, unless the box was dented during delivery. For added security, insure it for its value, if it is a fragile or expensive item. Our return address is: Viva Oaxaca Folk Art, 109 Ardale Street, Boston, MA 02131. We will refund your original shipping charge; the price you paid for the item; and, if you are in the United States, we will pay the cost of the return shipping back to us. You will receive your refund within a week of us receiving your returned item.
     
  • In the event that you have an item that got damaged during shipping to you, please notify us within 48 hours of receiving your package. Please send a picture with a description of the damage. Most often we will send a replacement, if we have one, or issue a refund. If it is an expensive item, and we shipped it to you with insurance, we will need to file a claim with the postal service. During this time it will be important to hold on to the original packaging material. The shipping company may ask to see it. Once they determine that the damage occurred in transit, we will issue a complete refund.
